Core Values

Relational. Engaging. Authentic. Christ-Centered. Holy Spirit Dependent.

Relational

We value a loving, genuine relationship with God and others.
  • Luke 10:27 “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind; and love your neighbor as yourself.”
  • 1 Peter 4:8 “Above all, love each other dearly, because love covers a multitude of sins.”

ENGAGING

We value working together to compassionately engage our community with the goal of connecting people with Jesus.
  • Matthew 5:13-16 “You are the salt of the earth…. You are the light of the world…. let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
  • Matthew 28:19-20 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

AUTHENTIC

We value authenticity; Choosing to live with honesty, openness, and transparency, in life’s good and bad times.
  • Acts 24:16 “So I strive to keep my conscience clear before God and man.”
  • James 5:16 “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.”

CHRIST-CENTERED

We value a Christ-centered culture; Jesus is the center and foundation of all we believe, do, and say according to the Bible, the inspired word of God.
  • Colossians 1:16-17 “For in Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.”
  • II Timothy 3:16-17 “All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness; so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped.”

HOLY SPIRIT DEPENDENT

We value the Holy Spirit; we know and believe the Holy Spirit empowers us, comforts us and teaches us all things.
  • Acts 1:8 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on You; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
  • John 14:26 “The advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.”
