Giving

God invites us to “‘Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,’ says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, ‘I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!’”  And the Apostle Paul says, “Yes, you will be enriched in every way so that you can always be generous. And when we take your gifts to those who need them, they will thank God.” (2 Corinthians 9:11)

While God promises to bless us when we trust him with our resources and practice generosity, we don’t give to get; we give because He gave first!  John 3:16 says, “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”  We give in response to God’s love for us, and your generosity makes it possible for us to continue our mission of “Chasing God, Finding Purpose, Sharing Hope, FOR REAL!”

Tithes = 10% of someone's increase given as general funds that can be used for ministry and the general operating budget of the church.

Offerings = generous gifts/donations given in addition to tithe. Offerings may also be given to specific missions and community programs that we support, such as the R.Y.A.N. House, Hope Rocks, The Hoving Home, and numerous foreign and domestic missionaries.
